Itinerary of Exproler Du Gia Village 2 Days 1 Night Tour

Day 0: Hanoi – Ha Giang ( Sleeping Bus / Limousine )

8:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Pick-up from your hotel in the Old Quarter or from the Foxtour Office (28 Hang Chieu Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi) as we head towards Ha Giang city.

Day 01: Ha Giang City – Duong Thuong Village – Du Gia Village

( Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner )

3:00 AM – 3:30 AM: Check-in at Giang Son Hostel and get some rest.

6:30 AM: Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the homestay where you stayed overnight after arriving on our complimentary sleeper bus. Savor the local flavors and enjoy the warm hospitality that sets the tone for the day ahead.

7:30 AM: Our knowledgeable tour guide will meet you at the homestay, help you load your luggage into the vehicle, and prepare you for the journey to Du Gia. This is the beginning of an adventure filled with breathtaking scenery and cultural experiences.

Our first stop will be at Milestone Number 0, a significant marker that symbolizes the start of our exciting journey through Ha Giang.

As we leave the city and follow Highway 4C, the road gradually reveals its majestic and beautiful landscapes. The next check-in point, often likened by locals to a small alley, offers a unique blend of poetic beauty and a touch of wildness that will captivate your senses and fill you with excitement.

We continue our journey along the picturesque road of Thuan Hoa, where we will pass by the serene A Boong Waterfall. This spot is perfect for a brief stop to take in the natural beauty and perhaps snap a few memorable photos.

Like many destinations in Ha Giang, Duong Thuong showcases majestic terrain with its hills and valleys dressed in vibrant green. This verdant hue blankets the mountains, forests, and fields, creating a stunning panorama. Amidst this green landscape, you’ll find peaceful, small houses belonging to the Hmong ethnic people, which exude simplicity and charm.

After traversing the scenic roads of Duong Thuong commune, we will arrive at Du Gia Village. The charm of Du Gia lies in its serene, untouched beauty, characterized by majestic natural landscapes of mountains and rice fields. The area features winding roads that meander around the foot of the mountains, enhancing the sense of tranquility and natural splendor.

Upon arriving, we check in at the homestay and enjoy a delicious late lunch there. After lunch, you will have some time to rest and rejuvenate, soaking in the serene surroundings and preparing for the adventures ahead.

2:30 PM: Depart with the tour guide to visit Du Gia Waterfall, which originates from the expansive forest and flows with crystal-clear waters through a deep ravine to Tien Village in Yen Minh District.

Amidst the lush greenery, the waterfall cascades from above, creating a spectacular display of white foam that enchants anyone who witnesses it. You can also take a refreshing dip in the waterfall, but please be sure to follow the tour guide’s instructions to ensure your safety.

5:30 PM: Return to the homestay, take a shower, and relax.

7:00 PM: It’s time for dinner, featuring delightful mountain specialties. This is an opportunity to relax, unwind from the stresses of daily life, and forge new friendships with fellow travelers from around the world.

Here, amidst the expansive mountains and forests, people from around the world come together, sharing laughter and singing. Don’t forget to taste the corn wine made by the locals, which they playfully call “happy water.” After dinner, you are free to relax and unwind.

Day 2: Du Gia – Lung Ho Pointview – Lung Tam Village – Quan Ba – Ha Giang City – Hanoi

6:30 AM: We will have breakfast at the hotel/homestay.

After breakfast, bid farewell to Du Gia village. The tour guide will take you along Provincial Road 176 to continue on the scenic route to the day’s first check-in point: Lung Ho, a picturesque valley nestled between the mountains. High mountains, characterized by both the romantic and majestic beauty typical of Ha Giang.

Continuing along the winding and majestic passes, we will arrive at Lung Tam Village, a historic settlement of the Hmong ethnic people. The village is nestled beneath the Quan Ba twin mountains and is renowned as the most famous handloom village in the Northwest. Situated in a small valley surrounded by four rocky mountains and with the Mien River flowing through, Lung Tam is accessible only by navigating winding mountain slopes, often shrouded in clouds or mist. Unlike most Hmong communities in this rocky plateau, which traditionally grow corn in rock holes on the arid mountains, Lung Tam is unique for its cultivation of flax.

In addition to the wonderful and unique beauty of the area, you will have the opportunity to learn about the long history of the craft. The brocade weaving village is not only a primary source of income for hundreds of households but also a place that preserves and maintains the traditional values of the local people. Today, Lung Tam’s flax products are increasingly produced with continually improving quality.

You will have lunch in Quan Ba, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee while admiring the stunning view of Quan Ba Twin Mountain (Fairy Mountain) and its natural beauty before returning to Ha Giang City.

Upon arriving in Ha Giang in the late afternoon, you can take a shower and relax at our hostel before the tour guide takes you to dinner at a local restaurant.

The bus will pick you up at Giang Son Hostel between 8:15 PM and 8:30 PM to return to Hanoi. The tour guide will bid farewell and thank everyone for spending a meaningful 2 days and 1 night with HagiangTripadvisor.
