ITINERARY:

Day 0: Transfer from Hanoi to Ha Giang

Day 1: Ha Giang City – Bac Sum Slope – Quan Ba Heaven Gate – Twin Mountain – Yen Minh – Tham Ma Slope – H’mong King Palace – Dong Van Town

8:30 AM: Your journey begins at our homestay in Ha Giang City, where our tour guide and drivers will provide a thorough safety briefing to ensure a comfortable and secure ride with our experienced easy riders.

As you set off, you’ll witness a dramatic transformation in the landscape as we ascend into the mountains. Our first stop is at Bac Sum Slope, a perfect spot to pause, enjoy the breathtaking views, and refresh with a drink before continuing to Quan Ba. This route takes you through the heart of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a UNESCO Global Geopark and one of Vietnam’s most significant geological sites. Along the way, you’ll be captivated by the sight of terraced rice fields, rugged limestone formations, and valleys where time seems to stand still. The locals working in the fields provide a glimpse into the traditional rural life of northern Vietnam.

Our journey continues with a visit to the Quan Ba Heaven Gate and the iconic Twin Mountains, where you’ll be treated to one of the most famous panoramic views in Ha Giang. We’ll then stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Yen Minh Town. After lunch, we proceed to Dong Van Town, with a stop at the historic Tham Ma Slope and the Vuong Family Residence, also known as the “H’mong King Palace,” a site rich in history and culture. The day concludes with dinner and a restful night at a homestay in Dong Van Town.

Day 2: Dong Van Town – Volunteer Youth Monument – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River Viewpoint – Meo Vac – Ha Giang City – Hanoi

After enjoying breakfast at the homestay, you’ll embark on a day filled with some of the most stunning scenery Ha Giang has to offer. The highlight of the day is the Ma Pi Leng Pass, often referred to as the “Heaven Pass” for its breathtaking beauty. As you traverse this legendary pass, you’ll be awestruck by the sight of the Nho Que River winding far below, framed by sheer cliffs and lush green mountains. This section of the loop is considered by many to be the most beautiful, offering unforgettable vistas at every turn.

After conquering Ma Pi Leng Pass, we’ll take an alternate route back to Yen Minh, which offers landscapes just as mesmerizing as those from the first day. As we travel, you’ll encounter different ethnic communities, including the distinctive H’mong people, whose vibrant traditional attire is easily recognizable. The diversity of cultures, the stunning natural beauty, and the glimpses into daily life in this remote region all combine to make this journey a truly enriching experience.

We’ll arrive back in Ha Giang City around 5:00 PM, where the tour concludes. You’ll then board a night sleeper bus at 9:00 PM for your return to Hanoi, bringing with you memories that will last a lifetime.
